Records of John Boone
- John Boone signed a work permit in London on 24 January 1735 with a Neal MacNeal to work on a Plantation for five years in Pennsylvannia. In the work permit, it says John Boon of Bedford and late of Portsmouth, England. Five years later he was living in King George County Virginia. Moved to Athens, Kentucky in the early 1800's.

- John Boone and his wife, Keziah, sold 557 acres to Caleb Smith also of King George Co., 557 acres. William's "will" is recorded on 2/17/1792 also in King George Co. Virginia Court House. December 6, 1770 William Boone, along with Moses Green and John Robinson, was sworn as a Deputy Sheriff of King George Co. Virginia.
