  4. This date (16 Mar 1762) is between writing (7 Aug 1761) and proving (2 Apr 1762), but its basis is not explained. It is not found in any published vital records, not given in Source:Bass, Charissa Taylor. Descendants of Deacon Samuel and Ann Bass, and the Find A Grave memorial only shows a modern monument giving on the year 1762, with no specific date. It is found on several websites, but none have been noticed that give a source.
