    Will of "John Barney of taunton ... under sickness and bodily weakness", dated 22 Feb 1727/28, proved 21 May 1728, names three sons John Barney, Jonathan Barney and Joseph Barney; other two sons Jacob Barney and William Barney [order given in a later list of all 5 sons: Jacob, John, William, Jonathan and Joseph]; four daughters Mary the wife of Beniamen Carpenter, Elizabeth the wife of Peter Caswell, Annah the wife of William Leonard, Sarah the wife of James Williams; wife Mary Barney. Sons John and Jonathan to be executors.
