John Allison, Sr. came to America when a small boy and settled with his family in Lancaster County, PA. Martha Hamilton came to America 04 Oct 1796 as an endentured servent. She was assigned to William Allison (most likely John's father) for four years beginning 21 Sept 1746. John and Martha moved to Orange County, NC about 1755.
