Bible of brother James M. Alexander, transcription. The middle name is Liston/Listor; his father had a brother by this name and the spelling is definitely "Listor" in the official, hand copy of the original will, written by James Alexander, the first John Listor's brother. Greene Co Georgia, 1791. The spelling might have been misinterpreted in typing the transcript of the bible or copying the original will, I choose to use the spelling in the copy of the will written in 1791 rather than the bible transcription made at a later date.

Moses Alexander applied for administration of his will 1/1/1838. This is from Patti Paine Andrews, Columbus, Georgia, who is related through Asa Castellaw Alexander, Sr.'s son Cullen Wooten Alexander - 9/5/1998 exchange of information. I do not have a copy of the will or application for administration. Moses is no doubt his father who did not die until1843 but it could be his brother Moses b 1817.
