Named as a brother in will of James Alexander [Greene Co Georgia 5 Sep 1791, proved 7 Oct 1791, appl for letter of exec. 19 Jan 1792]. DAR appl.525545.

Bible of James M. Alexander, transcription, the middle name is Liston; the spelling of Listor is definite in the will, copied from the original, of this John Listor's brother, James Alexander, Greene Co. Georgia, 1791. The spelling of "Liston" might have been misinterpreted in typing the transcript of the bible, or "Listor" in making the official, hand written copy of the will of James Alexander; I use the name as spelled in the will.

Ezekiel and John L (Listor/Liston) Alexander owned land on Little Beaverdam (now called Shoulderbone Creek) in Georgia, from Patti Andrews. I have no document showing this.
