    John ADAMS - After being in feeble health for some time John Adams died at his residence, Victoria Avenue, this morning. The deceased gentleman was a carpenter by trade and was born in Cornwall in May 1830, residing here during the whole of his life. He was a good, kindly man, and had a great many friends. He leaves a widow and three sons, John, Hugh and James and seven daughters most of whom are in Cornwall. His funeral will take place at 3 o'clock on Sunday afternoon to Trinity church, thence to Woodlawn cemetery. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community.
