( Johannes Michael went to university in Jena in 1667, then became a private tutor in Dannheim, worked as a teacher in Arnstadt, worked as an Ordinarius (professor) in Gotha. On November 3rd 1678 he became a substitute (minister) in Ingersleben. On Palm Sunday 1680 he became the minister in the parish of Espenfeld, he was officially confirmed in that position on April 17th 1681. On November 2nd 1699 he moved to Reinsfeld as the local minister. He retired in 1717. Jena, Dannheim, Arstadt, Gotha, Ingersleben, and Espenfeld are all towns or villages in the modern German state ofThuringia in eastern Germany. .
