Bought land on western corner of Sea Point bulge, where the Aquarium now stands. Kept a boat in Bosenberg bay manned by Malay crew. Known as 'Governor of Sea Point'. Mentioned in the book ‘Under the Lion’s Head’ by M Murray. Also in the same book, his mother Alida. |
