Johannes Frick owned a copyhold (feudal estate) "at the upper mill." It was later purchased by Jakob Harr, whether or not he was Frick's son-in-law is unknown. The house burnt down in 1807, including the buildings of the grain and sawmill nearby. The house was rebuilt, but closer to the hill, and the storage building was remodeled. Around 1840, the estate came into the possession of Johannes Worssner. He ceded the building and the garden to the community in 1827(?). From then on the house was used as a schoolhouse, also as a Town Hall until 1855, and sold in 1901. Originally the grainary, now Nuilding No. 50, was also part of the feudal estate, but was sold to miller Storz in 1763. Already by 1726 the upper mill had been built on the estate by Hans Jorg Storz.
