<colgroup> <col style="width: 494pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 24064;" width="658" /></colgroup><tbody>Peter Waltz joined the Colonial Army, against the wishes of his first wife, and served from April 1775 to September 1780. He fought in the Battle of Lexington (April 18, 1775), The Battle of Bunker Hill Plus 12 additional battles. Also marched and fought under the banner of General George Washington. His wife did not want him upon his return and would not let him see his children. He didn't see his son Jacob until 35 years later in Ohio.
