BIOGRAPHY: Born in Oldendorff (now Germany) Married to Catrina Talmond 1753 -1820

BIOGRAPHY: He was a Captain in the Dutch army and lived in The Hague. Served in the German army for 6 years and 3 months. Served in the Dutch army from March 1 1781 - June 5 1808. Was discharged by royal decree with a pension. Fought in the following battles:

BIOGRAPHY: I (Elisabeth Hietkamp) had a brother who died in 1962 in a hit and run accident. He was born in 1936 and was named Johannes Hendrik Christoffel after this ancestor. Originally, I wanted to give that name to our son John, but Gerrit thought it was too elaborate. He was named John Henry instead.
