Johann paid the defense tax at Trupbach in 1624, 1626, 1628 and 1629, indicating that he was over 50 years of age, so he was born about 1570. He was probably a brother of Jost Heimbach of Seelbach. He does not appear in the next Treasury Accounts in 1637, so probably died 1636.
