    1811-1826, in Jefferson Co. TN. On page 297, the will of Andrew
    Eslingers, May 9, 1820, names his wife Christinia and his children:
    Adam, Casper, David, Andrew, Chrisain, John, Catherine, Mary,
    Elizabeth, and Nancy. Friends named are William Hill andGeorge Taff,
    exec. with witnesses Robert Swann, Philip Rinehart and Jesse Taff. It
    was signed by the mark of Andrew Eslinger (seal). It was returned to
    the court in the Sept. session, 1820. Then on page 328, the record
    appears of the sale of the Estate of Andrew Eslinger. Buyers were
    Bennet Arnold, Michael Branner, John Bare, James Bradford, William
    Bennett, Miles Castling, Josiah Denton, Isaac Denton, Adam Eslinger,
    Elizabeth Eslinger, John Henderson, John Witt, John Ealey, Henry
    Haggard, John O. Hance, Abedgego Inman, Benjamin Inman, John Kedner,
    Frederick Licklyter, William May, Hugh McCall, Jacob Reece, James
    Rainwater, John Smith, Robert Swann, Povy Wilkinson, Mathews Cowan,
    George Cowan, Elias Moreland, Frederick Pulse, James Chambers, Baker
    Davis, John Russell. The executors were William Hill and George Taff.

    On pages 378-380 appears the Settlement of the Estate of Andrew
    Eslinger. This was in the December session, 1822.
