There is a Peter Weaver/Webber and wife ,Elizabeth, purchaseing land in Frederick C.,Va. from York Co.,Pa. about 1740's.I am searching for the parents of Charles Weaver born 1793 in North Carolina and died 1858 in Page Co.,Va. at Stony Man.Some of his children were born in Madison Co.,Va.He married Mary Tutwiller Bowen in 1817 in Shenandoah Co.,Va.He might have had a brother,George Weaver in Page Co.,Va. I think his father was a John Weaver. Any help would be appreciated.

Hallo from Germany,

in the church-records of Daaden, Rheinland Pfalz, Germany I found a lot of informations about emigrants to Pennsylvania. The following persons have the remark: "To Amerika":

Some arrived with the "Rowand "1753 and some with the "Edinburgh" 1753 from Rotterdam to Philadelphia.

In 1784 twenty families left our region to america , but I have no further information!

If you have more questions about these people plaese send me a mail.
