  6. The basis for the birthdate in the Foster Genealogy is unknown: it could be based on his interpretation of a hard-to-read record, or it could be unknowable and the date might represent Pierce's guess. Page 237 say the birth occurred in Warren, Mass., which seems unlikely and there is not record there.
    The record saying 1754 is discounted because his birth would be slightly less than 9 months after Nathan. It is presumed this is a guess about a hard-to-read record.
    1755 seems the most likely due to spacing of sibling births. He died 1812 in 58th year, so age 57, and born about 1755.
