[edit] Joe (Cudjoe and Die's): Biographical InformationJoe was the brother of Simon Walker. Joe's brother Simon opened a Freedmen's Bank account in Charleston, June 9, 1871. His application indicates that he was born and raised in St. Andrews Parish, Charleston County, South Carolina. He listed his residence as Drayton Hall Plantation, St. Andrews Parish. Simon stated that his father's name was Cudjoe Walker and his mother's name was Die. Joe (no surname given) was listed as Simon's brother and Nanny Smith was listed as his sister.
