!Parents: Orson Douglas Romney and Leona Hamblin. Graduated from U. of U. Taught elementary school. Member of Jay Welch Chorale. Loved music. Traveled a lot with husband. Pres. Monson and Pres. Hinckley spoke at her funeral. Ann,Steve, Gayle and Marcia attended funeral. Died at age 67. "Mom's family was her greatest joy, devoting her life unselfishly to us and to her grandchildren. She leaves a legacy of love, kindness, caring, tenderness and compassion. Beautiful music filled her life and the lives of those around her, sharing her lovely voice with m any choral groups. She was a faithful, dedicated member of the LDS church. She loved to travel with Dad, and together they enjoyed many wonderful experiences. Survived by her husband; her son, Eric [Kay] Burgoyne of London, England; her daughters, Carol [James] Rose of Taylorsville, Ut; Susan [Kenneth] Thomsen of Riverton, Ut; Nancy [Richard] Black of Bountiful, Ut; 16 grandchildren.
