Morristown - Joan Griffin, aged 85, departed this life on February 18th 2018. She is survived by her children David and Nancy Griffin and their children Sean, Kevin and Patrick; Joanne and Richard Forcier and her daughter Emily and her husband Craig; Charles and Lucia Griffin and their children CJ, Nicole and Paul; Nancy and Randy Vehslage and their children Olivia and her husband Tim, Randy and his fiancee Samantha and Morgan.
She was a most beloved mother, Nana, sister and Aunt. She warmed the lives of everyone she met, from people who knew her for years to those she met on a two minute bus ride. No visit to Nana's was complete without her making you something to eat with a promise of even more, if you'd let her. Joan was fiercely independent and loved to take care of those around her and could fill a room with song and dance.
Though Joan has left us, she will be joining her husband Charles and her sisters Adele, Sara and Dorothy, her brother Jim and her mother and father in heaven.
