These came about from mergers anddivisions of departments to suit Government exigencies.

AWARDS: Companion of the Imperial Service Order (I.S.O.)

TRAVEL: To U.S.A. in 1945 - delegation to U.N., staff. On thefiftieth anniversary of the United Nations was invited as aguest at the celebrations in New York. Flew in "Concorde" as aguest of the government.

NOTE: Although Joan was a first cousin, the difference in ourages was sufficient to keep us apart when we lived near eachother except in my very early years when, on occasion, I wascared for during the day by my aunt.
