Jo Ann Ezell, 79, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away July 5, 2014. Funeral to be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, with visitation at 1 p.m. at Longview Chapel Christian Church, 850 SW Longview Road, Lee's Summit. Burial to be held privately at Longview Cemetery. Jo Ann was born Nov. 21, 1934. She was a member of the Longview Chapel Christian Church. She was a talented singer and sang in the church choir, an accomplished artist, and a wonderful mother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Vernon on June 25, 2014, and her sister, June Williams. She is survived by her children, John Ezell (Laura), Judy Koontz, Dave Ezell (Maria); eight grandchildren; seven great grand- children; as well as sisters, Frankie Jean Tjarks and Jackie Michel.
