    Jo Ruth passed away Sunday at Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill.

    A native of Palmer, Texas, she had lived in Kirbyville since 1942.

    Survivors include her husband, Lethe Smith; her mother, Ruth O'Bannion; a son, Edward "Eddie" Smith and wife Cheryl; a daughter, Debra "Debi" Greene and husband John; brothers, Edward "Edd" O'Bannion, and Michael O'Bannion; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
