Obituary: Jimmy Tullis passed away Wednesday in a Houston Hospital. He was born May 22, 1936, in Arab, Alabama, to Herman and Minnie (Ward) Tullis. He was the owner of Tullis Enterprises and a home builder. He invented and designed several moldings used in home building. He was very creative, enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, golf, barbequing, and playing pool. He loved his children and grandchildren.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, brother, John Tullis, and sister, Dorothy Bennett. He is survived by his son, Ray Tullis and wife, Carla, of Channelview; daughters, Lisa Tullis of Houston, and Cindy Del Rio of Aurora, CO.; sister-in-law, Janice Tullis; grandchildren, Ray, Brian, Charlie, and Tony Tullis, Andres, Marcos, and Christian Del Rio; nephew, Keith Bennett and wife, Christine; great nieces and nephews, Kelly, Sarah, and Brian Bennett, Paulette, Tina, and Cliff Tullis.

The family received friends at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Friday evening, August 8, 2008. Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday afternoon, 2:00 pm at Crespo & Jirrels Chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
