FREEL, Omer, age 74, of 2720 McLeod Road, passed away in a local hospital, Sunday, July 5, (1953). Mr. Freel had resided in this community for the past four years and previously had lived on Orcas Island for over 60 years. Surviving relatives include seven nephews, Alfred O'Neil, of Olga, Orcas Island, Charley O'Neil, of Anacortes, Gene McLennan, of Port Angeles, Danny McLennan, of Sedro Woolley, Kenny McLennan, of Arcada, Calif., Ed Senff, of Bellingham, and Orville Senff of Olga. Seven nieces, Mrs. Eva Fleming, of Canada, Mrs. Lizzie Butters, of Doe Bay, Mrs. Annie Carlson, of Olga, Mrs. Clara Erickson, of Shelton, Mrs. Janet Wright, of East Sound, Mrs. Rena Martinson, of Bellingham, and Mrs. Jessie Calkin of Nevada. Graveside services will be conducted at the East Sound Cemetery by Rev. Allen, pastor of East sound Presbyterian Church, Wednesday, July 29 at 1 p.m. under the direction of the Harlow-Hollingsworth Funeral Home.
