  17. "Jesse M. Lust, 92, a resident of Autumnwood Care center, died at 5:00 PMSunday, July 05, 1981, at Mercy hospital, where he had been a patientfor two days. A resident of Tiffin for approximately 63 years, heestablished Lust insurance agency in 1918 and was active in itsoperation for 50 years. It is now the Tiffin Insurance company. Hegraduated from Chatfield high school in 1907 and attended HeidelbergCollege with the class of 1916. He taught in rural schools nearChatfield from 1907-10 and was principal of Belle Center high schoolfrom 1915-18. He was one of the founders of the Tiffin rotary club, amember of the Elks and Masonic lodges and served as president of Tiffincity council for two terms. He was born in Chatfield on January 31,1889, and was the last surviving of the eleven children of Moses andElizabeth [Siebold] Lust. He married Trenah F. Johnson on June 15, 1912,and she survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John A. [Ruth]Kell of Huntington, West Virginia, and Mrs. Carole J [Freda] France ofTiffin; a son, Nevin J. Lust of Bettsville; five grandchildren and eightgreat-grandchildren. Reverend John V. Teeters will conduct services at1:30 PM Wednesday at the Turner-Engle funeral home. Burial will be inthe Lust cemetery, near Chatfield. Visitation at the funeral home willbe from seven-nine PM Tuesday."
