Corn, Jesse - entered service in Albemarle County, Virginia; early in Revolutionary War; born 10/31/1753; died 3/5/1809 in Patrick County, Virginia; married 1780 to Nancy, daughter of John Hancock (marriage Bond 2/21/1780 signed by Benjamin Hancock), Fluvanna County, Virginia, widow was born 2/17/1780; her father was one time resident of Henry County, Virginia; widow granted Pension 1841 in Franklin County, Tennessee, & died 6/17/1848 at home of daughter Mrs. Mary Sharp near Winchester, Tennessee; children's births: Elizabeth 12/4/1780 (married Richard Sharp), John Adam 1/26/1783, William 1/11/178_, Jesse Jr. 3/11/1787, Mary 6/6/1789 (married James Sharp, died 8/12/1847), Samuel 4/10/1792, Suckey 12/16/1794, Nancy 4/1/1797 or 4/4/1797 (married George McCutchen), George 9/30/1799, Dicea/Dicy 1803 (married Robert Sharp); children who were living in 1850: Elizabeth Sharp, John, Samuel, Mary Sharp, Nancy McCutchen, all resided in Franklin County, Tennessee & Jesse resided in Patrick County, Virginia; mother of soldier & his brothers George, Peter, Samuel resided at one time in Henry County, Virginia & those brothers all had Revolutionary War service; brother of widow R.
