Bio: OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)Jerry Votra, 66, 430 Vermont Street, died in the Wabash County Hospital where he had been admitted Monday afternoon suffering from heart disease and complications.The decedent was born April 27, 1884 in Miami County to Charles and Nancy (Mongosa) Votra and was married on March 12, 1915 to Rosetta Huddleson who survives. Mr. Votra was a life resident of Wabash and Miami counties.In Peru, Mr. Votra was employed at the Redmond basket factory and was at times an employee of the General Electric and Containers corporations in Wabash.Other survivors include nine children: Mrs. Robert Middleton, Wabash, Charles Votra, Michigan, Ronald Votra, Wabash, Richard Votra, Miami, Fla., Mrs. Ruby Benson, Peru, Mrs. Gene Richards, Columbia City R.R.2, Mrs. Virginia Felts, Wabash, Orville and Cecil at home; 12 grandchildren and three nieces. Two sisters, Mrs. George Dunn, Richvalley and Mrs. Oscar Fear, preceded him in deateh.The body was removed to the family residence where friends may call and will be returned Thursday morning to the Wire Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. #Burial will be in the Falls Cemetery.
