Jerome L. Kimmet

Jerome L. Kimmet, 90, of 2422 S. SR 53, Tiffin, died at 8:30 p.m. Thursda y, Sept. 16, 2004, in St. Francis Home, Tiffin. He died on the twelfth ann iversary of his wife's death.

He was born May 15, 1914, in Seneca CO to George and Loretta (Sendlebac h) Kimmet. They are deceased. He married Dolores Nye Aug. 24, 1938, in S t. Andrew's Church, Liberty Twp and she died Sept. 16, 1992. Survivors include: two sons, Eldon G. (Marge) Kimmet of Prospect OH, a nd James L. (Catherine) Kimmet of Ypsilanti, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Pa tricia (Paul) Kollner of Cincinnati, and Miss Norma Jean Kimmet of Tiffi n; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Alfred Kimm et of Genoa OH, and Norbert Kimmet of Fostoria; and a sister, Genevieve H olman of Fostoria.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Kimmet; two brothers, Oliv er and Ralph Kimmet; and a sister, Mrs. Margarite Boes.

He was a farmer and he retired in 1979 as a machinist from Atlas Cranksha ft in Fostoria. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 20, 2004, in St. Joseph Cath olic Church. The Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the funeral ma ss. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Catholic Cemetery, Liberty Twp.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, in the Hannay- Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin OH 44883 (419) 447-31 13 where there will be a wake service at 8:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, American Di abetes Foundation, or St. Francis Home Chapel Fund in care of Hannay-Traun ero Funeral Home.
