    'BATTLES ...
Jeremiah, s. of Jeremiah and Hannah, Oct. 7, 174[torn].'

Dean Crawford Smith (Ancestry of Eva Belle Kempton) has listed Susanna (b. 174[ ]) after Edward (b. 1743/4) and before Elizabeth (b. 1750) and Jeremiah (b. 174[ ] according to Mendon VR, but given as 17[ ] in AEBK). Assuming that Susanna and Jeremiah were both born between Edward and Elizabeth, and that Susanna was older than Jeremiah, then it is reasonable to assume that Susanna was born in 1746 and Jeremiah in 1748. Most other RootsWeb compilers use 1748 as Jeremiah's birth year - possibly based on one other person's similar assumption.
