Genealogy of the Hibbard Family Who are Descendants of Robert Hibbard Compiled and Published by Augustine George Hibbard Woodstock, Connecticut, U.S.A. 1901 Page 180 Jeptha (s. Rufus 6, William 5, John 4, Robert 3, Robert 2, Robert 1), b. Canterbury, Conn., July 8, 1782; m. April 22, 1806, Mary, dau. Rufus and Hannah (Brayton) Johnson. Resided in Brooklyn and Lisbon, Conn., where he was a practicing physician until 1829. In that year removed to the town of Riga, Monroe Co., N. Y. (P. O. North Chili or Churchville), where he was engaged in farming until about 1860. Then removed to Michigan to live with his oldest daughter, and d. at her home, Atlas, Genesee Co. Mich., Sept. 5, 1865.
