Paul Elet Hamp was born 12 Nov 1905 at Ovid, Clinton County, Michigan. He married Annice Delilah Hayes, daughter of Henry Hayes and Lilly Sage. Delilah was born 24 Apr 1910. Paul is listed as an auto mechanic in the birth record of the first child. He also worked as a milk truck driver, and later as a maintenance man, first at the refinery in Elsie, Michigan, and then at the milk plant there.
