"Taylor - Jennie Harriet Mantle, wife of Elder Harry F. Taylor, died at the Glendale Sanitarium, Los Angeles, California, 22 Dec 1918. Mrs. Taylor was born in Hartford, Michigan, 18 Jun 1881. 22 Dec 1902, she was united in marriage with Harry F. Taylor. Shortly after their marriage they accepted the Third Angel's Message. Since that time Mrs. Taylor has faithfully worked for the cause. She lived a beautiful and consistent Christian life. Although she suffered much all her life, she was always patient and bore all with great Christian fortitude. Her many friends feel that they have lost a great friend in her passing. We, however, know that she will be ready when the Saviour comes to gather His own. In the fall she and her husband left Jersey City, their place of labor, for the West, as Mrs. Taylor's health was failing. She was getting along nicely when she was taken ill with Spanish Influenza. Pneumonia developed and she could not rally, as her heart was too weak. She leaves to mourn her husband, parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Mantle, a sister, and two brothers, besides a host of friends."

"Taylor - Jennie Harriet Mantle was born in Hartford, Michigan 18 Jun 1881. She was married to H. F. Taylor in 1902, and with him united with the Seventh-day Adventist church at Grand Rapids, Michigan, the following year. With her husband she labored in Michigan, New York, and later in the Bermuda Islands. Returning to the States in 1914, they labored on the Atlantic Coast until a short time ago, when called West, and there she fell asleep at Glendale, California 22 Dec 1918. In all the fields where Sister Taylor labored she was most energetic and diligent in helping forward the work. There is no doubt that the abundance of her labors contributed very largely, if not entirely, to the breakdown that eventually caused her death. Her husband, parents, two brothers, and one sister survive."
