Obituary MRS. JENNIE DE WITT, 88, DIES AT DAUGHTER'S HOME

 Mrs. Harm (Jennie) DeWitt, 88, died Wednesday morning, November 26, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arie Molendyk, in Coopersville.
 Mrs. DeWitt was born September 27 in Hanover, Germany, and came to the United States at the age of 22, settling in Coopersville.  She was married to Gert Smoes in 1897, and he passed away in 1912.  She was married to Harm DeWitt in 1913.  Mrs. Smoes has lived in Coopersville since coming from Germany.  She was a member of the Reformed church and of the Ladies' Adult Bible Class.
 Surviving beside the husband and daughter are five sons, Henry, Gert, John and Albert Smoes of Coopersville and Harry DeWitt of Conklin; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
 The body reposed at the residence on Eastmanville street.  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Coopersville Reformed church, with the Rev. Peter Muyskens officiating.  Burial was in the Coopersville cemetery.
