JELLES--JennaV (Kemink-Browning) Jelles, a faithful servant of the Lord passed away on March 30, 2006 at Raybrook Manor. She lovingly cared for people as wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friends and mentor. She was predeceased by husbands, Claude Kemink, James Browning, and Nicholas Jelles; brother, Herman Laug; son, John L. Kemink; son-in-law, Emil Hornack Jr., and granddaughter, Kristina White. She was an inspiration to her children, Claudia (Thomas) Larson of Ann Arbor, MI, JoAnne (Robert) White of Schenectady, NY, Janice Hornack of Cleveland, OH, Mary (Richard) VandenBerg of Grand Rapids, MI, James (Dorothy) Browning of Stuart, FL., Christine (Donald) Maxwell of Plano, TX, Sharon (Richard) Smith of San Carlos, Sonora, MX; daughter-in-law Janet Kemink of Ann Arbor, MI; 21 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and numerous other family members. She was born and raised in Coopersville, Michigan and through the years made her home in Grand Haven, Grand Rapids and Boca Raton, FL. She put her faith into action by her service to others through her church, LaGrave Ave. CRC, her community activities and her volunteer work in Haiti. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at LaGrave Ave. Christian Reformed Church, Rev. J.D. Epping and Rev. John J. Steigenga officiating. Interment Lake Forest Cemetery in Grand Haven. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday, April 10, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel and Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the John L. Kemink Memorial Scholarship Fund at Hope College or the Patient Assistance Fund at Raybrook Manor.
