• I do not know if Franklin is her surname or her married name. --Cos1776 15:09, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
• She is named as granddaughter "Jemima Franklin" in a [date needed] Codicil to the 16 Oct 1770 Will of Henry Settle. Other granddaughters were named in the original will, but none were named Jemima, leading me to believe that she was born after the date of the original will. Need to find the date of the codicil.
