Obituary article states as follows: Jehu C Forrest dies Saturday, Jehu C Forrest, 60 years of age passed away in the Hartford Hospital at approximately 10 A.M. Saturday. Death resulted from Carcinoma of the lung. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M.Tuesday in Calvins Funeral Home and burial will be made in Lakeview Cemetery. The Rev Donald Lane will officiate. Mr Forrest formerly lived in South Haven. He is survived by wife Mattie Holley Forrest, seven children William Buford Forrest of RidgelyTenn, James Birdie Forrest of South Haven Mich, Annie Virginia Herren of Hayti Mo, Norvel L.V Forrest, Margaret Catherine Forrest, Quinnan Harold Forrest, George William Forrest and Fay Etta Forrest all of Chicago, J.P. Forrest of Huntingdon Tennessee, Three step children, James Vernon Sayles Lucille Sayles and Thomas Sayles all of Chicago and 20 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son Shermon Earl Forrest of Chicago Illinois.
