Hugh Webb wrote: In 1755 the Acadians were expelled from Nova Scotia. This situation explains why Jeanne was born in France. Her parents were born in Canada. The D'Aigles upon returning went to the Bonaventure region of the Gaspe Peninsula and then Nova Scotia and Cape Breton Island.
