JEAN AUSTIN Ulster Heights, New York Jean Austin, of Ulster Heights, a homemaker, and a life area resident, died Tuesday, March 5, 2002, at Horton Medical Center. She was 74. The daughter of Frances Scherch, she was born February 22, 1928, in Ellenville. She was a member of the Senior Foster Grandparent Program. She was the widow of Alfred Austin. Survivors include two daughters, Red Roudis, at home, and Colleen Davis of N.C., thirteen grandchildren, four great- grandchildren and eleven stepchildren; one sister, Doris Tutko of Kerhonkson, and two nieces. She was predeceased by one stepdaughter and two sons, George Rose and Lance Rose. Friends may call at the Loucks Funeral Home Inc., Route 209, Ellenville, today, March 8, 2002 from 7-9 p,m. Funeral Services will be held at 8 p.m. today, March 8, at the funeral home. The Rev. William Cates will officiate. Cremation will be at the convenience of the family.
