    James, Jane, and Mary Oliver, were the children of John Oliver and Mary Patterson. They were all born in Ireland. Their father, John Oliver, died in Ireland, and his widow married Joseph Clark, and they with her three children emigrated to America in 1737, settling eventually in East Pennsboro’ township, adjoining the farm of Elizabeth McCormick.
