Jean Desmarets. The author doesn't indicate birth or death information, nor identify his parents. Robert Desmarets and Elisabeth Richaume are presented on the previous page, with no speculation that Jean was their son.

  4. 4.0 4.1 Many online trees show that he was the son of Robert Desmarais and Elisabeth Richaume, without providing a source. The assumption is plausible. He could have been born about 1686, making him about 77 at death rather than 86 as stated in his burial record. His first known marriage was in about 1709, marrying a widow, and he could have been a decade younger than her. However, there appears to be no evidence for the relationship, and Find A Grave claims (without providing evidence) that he was born in France.
