He was a "sergent royal." He married around 1705 at Boston (rehabilitated 3 Mar 1706 at Port-Royal) to Anne ROY, daughter of Jean & Marie AUBOIS (an Amerindian); six children. He was not married to Marguerite CORPORON in 1711 when she conceived his child, born 16 Mar 1712, baptized (Port Royal Register) 3 Apr 1712.

A footnote under Francois LECULE dit GUY says that this natural [illegitimate] son of Marguerite CORPORON, upon his marriage at Port Royal on 22 Nov 1734, wrote his name as Francois LECUL, son of deceased Jean LECUL & Marguerite CORPORON. After 1740, he used the name Francois GUY.

   His brother Jean-Pierre, also illegitimate, has a footnote stating that upon his marriage in 1735 he signed the register as the son of Jean CLEMENSON & Marguerite CORPORON. At his 1st wife's burial he used the name Pierre LECULE.
