IV. Jared Pollock, (Oliver,) b. at New Oreleans; m. at Carlisle, Pa., February 13, 1800, by Rev. Robert Davidson, D. D., Mary Briggs, dau. of David Briggs, Esquire, of Silver's Spring settlement, and shortly after removed to Centre county, where all trace of him is lost. This marriage was not approved of by Oliver Pollock, as his letters indicate.
