    I, Jared Spencer of Hartford, doe make this my last will and testament : I give to my 4 daughters, Hannah, Sarah, Elizabeth and Mary, to each of them, £10 over and besides what my daughter Hannah formerly received of me. The rest of my estate, both real and personal, I give unto my son Jared Spencer and to his heirs and assigns forever, whome I make my sole executor. My will further is, that my daughter Mary Spencer shall have one room in my house to dwell in so long as she shall continue unmarried.
