"Jannie Bogue Norris, 91, 415 Oak St., Tipton, died late last night at Tipton County Memorial Hospital after a illness of several months. Born June 17, 1888 in Tipton County, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Carlisle. She was married to Alfred Bogue, who died in 1952. In 1956, she married Cleo Morris, who died in 1970. A lift-long resident of Tipton, she was a self-employed paper hanger and also worked at the Pioneer Grain Co. She was a member of the Women of moose and the First Baptist Church of Tipton. She is survived by a sister, Gladys Caylor of Kokomo; a brother Frank Carlisle of Kokomo; seven grandchildre, 24 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three daughters Funeral services will be ondducted at 11 a.m. Friday morning at the Mitchel Funeral Home with the Rev. Lawrence Hufhand officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Friends my call the the Mitchell Funeral Home Thursday from two to four p.m. and seven to nine p.m. and Friday prior to the service."
