Janice Dill

JERRY CITY -- Funeral services for Janice Anne Dill, 72, of Bowling Gree n, and formerly of Jerry City, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pla in Congregational Church, Bowling Green, the Rev. Dan Vellinga officiatin g. Burial will be in Jerry City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Peinert Funeral H ome, Tontogany.

Mrs. Dill died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2002, at Wood CO Nursing Home, Bowling G reen.

She was born May 30, 1930, in Jerry City to Guy and Helen (Dukes) Swope. S he married Harold Meeker on March 5, 1946, and he died in February 1991. S he later married Wilbur "Doc" Dill on Nov. 21, 1993, and he survives.

Also surviving are a son, Gary Meeker, Holiday, Fla.; six daughters, Mr s. Gail (Jane) Fogle, McComb; Mrs. Joe (Karen) Tuttle, Cygnet; Mrs. Bill ( Sandra) Freeman, Bluffton; Mrs. Bob (Jackie) Peinert, Whitehouse; Mrs. T om (Marsha) McCready, Dublin; Mrs. Bob (Diane) Kirtley, Ormond Beach, Fla .; 29 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Bob (Elai ne) Stubbins, Jerry City; Mrs. Russ (Marilyn) Vaneck, Pemberville; Mrs. He rb (Fran) Hathaway, Findlay; a brother, Bob Swope, Bowling Green; and t wo half brothers, Herman Swope, San Diego, Calif.; and Ralph Swope, Jackso n MI.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Wayne and Daniel Meeker; a siste r, Barbara Mayo; and a half sister, Neva Swope.

Mrs. Dill was an assistant supervisor of housekeeping at Wood CO Nursing H ome for several years.

She was a member of Plain Congregational Church, PERS Retirees and Jerry C ity Church of Christ.
