An excerpt from a letter from Lola Celia (KNIGHT) GURLEY to Harold Stanley KNIGHT dated 29 Jan. 1944 Marietta, New York: "Janice has one little boy, Dick, who will be 8 years old Monday. Her husband, Dudley BARBER, works as an accountant at Chilled Plow Co. where Uncle Harry (GURLEY) used to work before he was retired (pensioned)." Note: this letter was written on Saturday as Lola stated it was 10:30PM and she had to close else she wouldn't be able to get up and go to church the next morning. I conclude that Richard BARBER's birth date is 31 Jan. 1936 based on this.
