Obituary from Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Fort Worth, TX, August 12, 2003: FORT WORTH -- Jane Woodbury Yancey, 79, passed away Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Chapel. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Memorials: Arlington Heights United Methodist Church Building Fund. Jane was born Dec. 2, 1923, to Richard and Olive Lenig Woodbury in Fort Worth. She was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star and Arlington Heights United Methodist Church. Jane was a 1941 graduate of Arlington Heights High School and a 1945 graduate of Texas Christian University with a bachelor of arts degree. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Olive Woodbury; and brothers, William R. Woodbury, Franklin Woodbury and John and Pete Woodbury. Survivors: Husband of 44 years, Coit Yancey of Fort Worth; brother, Benjamin H. Woodbury of Midland; sisters-in-law, Verda Woodbury of Hillsboro, Jean Woodbury of Fort Worth and Scott Woodbury of Menlo Park, Calif.; and nieces and nephews. |
