STAFFORD COUNTY VA WILL BOOK O; 1748-1767; THE ANTIENT PRESS
December the 5th 1755 In the Name of God Amen I JANE GRIGSBY being sick .- but of sound sense .. first give my Soul to God & my body to be decently buried .. Item I give to my Son JOHN GRIGSBY one of my best hogs that is in the pen & the other three that is in the pen and three running at large I give to my Son MOSES GRIGSBY for the maintenance of his Brother THOMAS GRIGSBY and likewise I give him all my pewter & some Cloth to make him a waist-coat & some coarse Linnen to make him four Shirts & white Linnen for one and likewise T give him five head of Cattle and likewise I give him two feather beds & furniture and all my water vessells. Item I give my son AARON GRIGSBY a Sorrel Horse branded I and likewise I give him one Chest .. set my hand ..
