JANE ELLON PERRY lived in Kentucky. She later moved to Barton County, Missouri. She later moved to Sugar City, Crowley County, Colorado.

The 1870 census shows Jane and her family living in Newton Township, Barton County, Missouri. She owned 30 acres of improved land and 50 acres of other unimproved land. The value of her farm was $800.00. She owned 3 milch cows, 8 sheep, and 16 swine. The value of her livestock was $156.00. Her farm produced 60 bushels of Indian corn, 14 pounds of wool, 12 bushels of Irish potatoes, $60.00 value of animals slaughtered, and $120.00 value of all farm produced.

Milford Pioneer
Aunt Jane Westby, mother of Bob Rector, died at the home of her youngest son, Billie Westby, Monday. She was eighty three years old, and had lived in the Round Prairie neighborhood for sixty years. Before her first marriage, she was Miss Jane Perry.
She is survived by four sons and two daughters. The sons are Bob Rector, the well known stockman and farmer; James Rector and Ben Rector, of Colorado, and Billie Westby, with whom she made her home.
The daughters were Mrs. Allie Taylor, of New Mexico and Mrs. Cora Devine, of Colorado.
