Some sources claim that this Jane Graham was a daughter of Richard Graham and Hannah Agnes Cathey, othes cite her as the daughter of Richard's brother, James Graham who married Jean Foster. Based upon naming patterns for that time, the second eldest male would have been named after the wife's father, and in this case that 2nd eldest son was named RICHARD, which seems to indicate that Jane Graham was a daughter of Richard Graham and not his brother James. Further, James Gillespie and Jane Graham DID NOT have a son named James.
